Bollywood stars do not shy away from changing their habits along with physical transformation for their characters in films. Manushi Chillar's name has also been included in this list.
Manushi turned from vegetarian to non-vegetarian for the recently released film 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan'. Manushi has explained the reason why she had to do this in an interview.

In an interview given to Zoom website, Manushi said, 'I have been a vegetarian all my life. I always thought that I would never eat non-veg but then I signed 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan'. Then I got Covid. I was very scared because I did not want my weight to lose because I had to build muscles for 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'.
Manushi further said, 'Then my father, who is a doctor, advised me to eat meat. Papa used to take great care of my diet during this period. I always told him to please make something that doesn't taste like chicken. He used to sit near the dining table and force me to finish my food.
Manushi said, 'Most of the shooting of 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' took place in Jordan, Scotland, London and there were not many veg options available in Scotland and meat was the easiest source of protein for me.

'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' did not get good response
Apart from Manushi, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff have played lead roles in 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan', released on April 11. Manushi is seen opposite Akshay Kumar in the film. The film, made with a budget of Rs 350 crore, did not get any special response. The film has been able to earn only about Rs 55 crore in 11 days.
