New Delhi; Leading News Service: Manish Sisodia's bail will be heard in the Delhi High Court on May 13. The hearing on Sisodian's bail plea was adjourned as the ED and CBI sought time to file their reply.
The bail application of AAP leader Manish Sisodia was heard on Wednesday (May 8). At this time, ED and CBI sought a week's time to file their reply on Manish Sisodia's bail plea. But the court gave only 4 days. Therefore, the hearing in this case will be held on May 13.
During the hearing on Wednesday, Manish Sisodia's lawyer Vivek Jain opposed the demand for additional time. Jain said, “Sisodia is in judicial custody and the ED had promised the Supreme Court to complete the case within 6 months, but that is not happening.”
Meanwhile, Delhi's Rouse Avenue court on Tuesday extended former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's judicial custody till May 15. The CBI is investigating the case.
