Malayalam actor Vinayakan was recently arrested from Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. He is accused of being drunk and misbehaving with the airport staff.
CISF Inspector Balaraju told news agency ANI that Vinayakan had come to Hyderabad from Kochi by Indigo flight and was going to Goa from here. Then he started misbehaving with the staff at the airport gate.
Balaraju also said, 'The actor was under the influence of alcohol. He created a lot of disturbance. We have filed a case on this basis.'
According to sources, Vinayakan has been handed over to the RGI Airport Police. A case has been registered against the actor under the City Police Act.
Last year too, the actor had created a ruckus in a drunken state This is not the first time that Vinayakan has been in the news due to a controversy. Last year too, the actor was arrested by a police officer for threatening and misbehaving in an inebriated state.
According to reports, Vinayakan created a ruckus at the Ernakulam Town North Police Station. Actually, the actor was called to the police station due to a dispute with his wife. But here he started creating a ruckus.
Vinayakan was booked under sections 118 (A) and 117 (E) of the Kerala Police Act. He was released on bail after a medical examination.
Who is Vinayakan? Apart from Malayalam, Vinayakan has also worked in many Tamil films. He was recently seen in the role of a villain in Rajinikanth's film Jailer. He has also received the National Award for Best Actor.
Apart from being an actor, Vinayakan is also a dancer and music composer.
