Director Nitesh Tiwari is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film 'Ramayana'. These days the makers are shooting it in Mumbai's Film City, which Ranbir Kapoor is also going to join soon.
Meanwhile, the makers are busy making this film on a big level. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the film's producer Namit Malhotra is trying to make a deal with international company Warner Bros for this.

Makers want to release the film at international level
If a source related to the film is to be believed, the makers are not only seeking support from Warner Bros but are also trying to partner on the distribution and marketing front, so that the film can be released at the international level.
Till now Namit, Nitesh Tiwari and superstar Yash are associated with 'Ramayana' as producers. Yash is also associated with this film as an actor. He will play the role of Ravana in it.
Ranbir will be seen in the role of Ram, Sai Pallavi Sita and Yash Ravana in the film.
Child artistes are shooting in the first schedule
These days the shooting of this film is going on in Film City where the set of Gurukul has been designed. Here, in the first schedule of the film, child artists playing the childhood roles of Ram, Lakshman and Bharat are shooting.
Recently some pictures from the sets of the film went viral. In these pictures, Arun Govil was seen in the role of King Dasharatha. Whereas Lara Dutta was seen in the role of Kaikeyi.
Arun Govil appeared in the role of King Dashrath in this video which was revealed from the set. Two child actors are also seen with him.
Lara Dutta is playing the character of Queen Kaikeyi. Lara was spotted wearing a purple saree and gold jewellery.
Announcement may be made on 17th April
It is heard that the makers can announce this film on the special occasion of Ram Navami on 17th April. Many Oscar winning artists are working on this film.
Where Oscar winning artists like Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman are working on its music and background score.
Oscar winning company DNEG will work on its VFX work. The film's producer Namit is also the Global CEO of DNEG.
Ranbir is also working hard for this film.
Names of many actors associated with the film
In the film, 'Dangal' fame actress Sakshi Tanwar has been cast to play the role of Ravana's wife Mandodari. She will be seen opposite Yash in this.
Earlier, actress Indra Krishna had shared a selfie with Ranbir Kapoor. It is discussed that she will play the role of Queen Kaushalya, mother of Lord Ram in this film. Actor Shishir Sharma is playing the role of Guru Vashishtha in it.
Ranbir Ram and actress Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of Sita in this film. Both are going to start shooting for it soon. Whereas superstar Yash will join the shooting of the film in July 2024.
The makers are planning to release the first part of this film, which is being made in 3 parts, by the second half of the year 2025.
