Recently, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has announced that he will no longer return to the world of film direction. His last film 'Sadak 2', which came in 2020, received a poor response. Alia Bhatt played the lead role in the film.

In an interview to the Indian Express, Bhatt said that he is now happier being a mentor rather than a director.

He said, 'People who are successful have a yearning to leave their mark with time. Now I don't have the desire to leave my mark in the entertainment industry. Vikram (Bhatt) has this yearning, Avika (Gaur) also has it. But, I have become old. Now I find happiness in giving direction to new talent. For me, nothing can be more satisfying than creating people.'

Let us tell you, Mahesh Bhatt has directed more than 50 films in his career. After saying goodbye to direction with the film 'Kartus' in 1999, Bhatt made a comeback with 'Sadak 2'.

During the conversation, Bhatt also revealed that he now wants to completely stay out of the film world and wants to focus his energy in grooming the new generation.

These days, Mahesh Bhatt is busy promoting his new film 'Bloody Ishq'. This film is directed by Vikram Bhatt and Avika Gaur has played the lead role in it. Mahesh Bhatt has written the story of this film.
