In the mythological serial 'Shiv Shakti – Tapa, Tyag, Tandav', actor Ram Yashvardhan is seen in the role of Shiva, while Subha Rajput is seen in the role of Parvati. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, the makers of the show have organized a special episode related to this holy festival. Recently, during a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, both the actors shared some memories related to this festival.
Ram Yashvardhan says, 'In childhood, all the family members used to go to the temple together in the morning. They used to anoint Bholenath and then offer fruits, milk and water. Pandals were set up in the society. Programs related to Mahashivratri were organized. In these programs I used to become Lord Shiva.
Perhaps, God was preparing me for this role since childhood. Even at that time the audience gave me a lot of love and is giving it to me even now. For this I am thankful to Lord Shiva.
Subha Rajput said, 'In childhood, I used to keep fast on this festival. However, now she is unable to keep it due to work. I miss the moments of breaking the fast with my family. I am a great devotee of Lord Shiva.
It is a great privilege to get the opportunity to showcase the glory of our Gods through my character. It is because of Shiva and Parvati that we believe that love is forever.
According to both the actors, there has been a lot of change in them after joining this show. Regarding this, Ram says, 'It is a matter of pride for me, Jai, to be associated with such a mythological serial. In the last 9 months, I have enjoyed this show a lot spiritually. Personally, there were a lot of changes in me.
Earlier I used to be worried thinking about the future but not anymore. After joining this show, my insecurities about the future have completely gone away. Now I believe in my karma. Feel very relaxed.
Surbhi says, 'I have accepted that whatever happens happens as per God's will. Now I accept every situation and move ahead. I have made karma my religion. I am very happy and satisfied.
