Madhavi Raje Scindia: Jyotiraditya Scindia's mother Madhavi Raje passed away


Leaders Online Desk: Madhavi Raje Shinde, mother of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Shinde and former 'Rajmata' of the Gwalior royal family, passed away. She was 70 years old. He has been undergoing treatment at the AIIMS hospital in Delhi for the past two months. He breathed his last in the hospital today (15th) morning.

Ahead of the third phase of the Lok Sabha polls, Madhavi Raje Shinde was admitted to Delhi AIIMS due to her condition deteriorating. He has been undergoing treatment for the past two months. He was suffering from pneumonia as well as sepsis. Madhavi Raje will be cremated in Gwalior. Earlier, his mortal remains will be kept at his residence at 27 Safdarjung Road in Delhi from 3 to 7 pm today. After this, his body will be brought to Gwalior for last rites.

Madhavi Shinde belongs to the royal family. His maternal house also has a glorious history. Madhavi Raje Shinde's grandfather Jud Shamsher Jung Bahadur was the Prime Minister of Nepal. At one time he was also the head of the Rana family. Madhavi Raje is also known as Rajkumari Kiran Rajya Lakshmi Devi. In 1966, Princess Madhavi of the royal family of Nepal was married to Madhavrao Shinde, father of Maharaj Jyotiraditya Shinde of Gwalior. On September 30, 2001, the then Congress leader Madhavrao Shinde died in a plane crash near Mainpuri (UP).
