The results of Maharashtra Assembly elections came on 23 November. Swara Bhaskar's husband Fahad Ahmed, who was contesting for Anushakti Nagar assembly seat, has faced defeat by a huge margin. After social media trolling, now Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav has made fun of him by making controversial comments.
In fact, after the results came out, Fahad Ahmed released a video alleging that there was a glitch in the EVM machines and demanded re-counting of the votes. Now, while re-sharing Fahadh's video, Elvish Yadav has written, this is your punishment for not keeping Swara in hijab.
Let us tell you that some time ago a picture of Swara Bhaskar had gone viral on social media, in which she was seen meeting Maulana Sajjad Naumani wearing a suit and covering her head. Due to her sudden change in attire, she was being trolled fiercely. Besides, Fawad Ahmed was also being criticized on love jihad and inter-religion marriage.
Some trollers said that before the elections, Fahad Ahmed wants to attract the attention of Muslim voters by dressing like this of his wife. While some said that Swara Bhaskar has completely changed after marrying a Muslim.
Amidst the continuous trolling, Swara Bhaskar had reprimanded the trollers. He posted some of his pictures and wrote, I did not know that my changed attire after marriage would become the topic of national debate. I am posting some more of my pictures, which will provide some more fodder to the Sanghi insects. Forgive me, Fahad Ahmed does not fit the stereotype of Muslim orthodoxy.
Let us tell you that along with Swara Bhaskar, Elvish Yadav has also made fun of Ejaz Khan's defeat. Actually, Ejaz Khan, who had 5 million followers, had got only 43 votes till the evening, due to which he had to face a big defeat. Elvish shared a picture of a meme related to Aijaz's defeat and wrote – OG (originality) speaking.
