While passing through Nagpur-Pandurna Highway, near Savli Phata, a person noticed a dead body lying on the roadside. The dead body was lying face down, the body was wearing a designer black top, black denim shorts and black long boots. When the body was turned over, the sight was shocking. The face was badly crushed. Patches of flesh were hanging, due to which the facial features were completely distorted. Both the knees were bruised and the toe of the right hand was also broken. The passerby immediately called the police and informed them about the incident.
Seeing the condition of the crushed face, it was clear that this was done to hide the identity. However, in this case, the girl's clothes and the many tattoos on her body proved to be quite helpful. The girl had a tattoo on her chest which read 'Queen', while her hand had a tattoo of 'Love Bird' which had two names, the first being 'Khushi' and the second being 'Aashu'. The police department circulated the pictures of the tattoos to nearby police stations and informers. The second angle of investigation was the clothes found on the girl's body.
His top had a sticker of a mall in Nagpur, which helped a lot in the investigation. When the police inquired in that showroom of the mall, it came to light that the bill for the clothes was in the name of a girl named Khushi Kumari.
Just a day before the body was found, Khushi had done shopping worth Rs 6000 from the mall, the mobile number was also found in the bill.
As soon as the identity was revealed, it did not take much time for the police to connect the links to the murder. The threads of this horrific murder turned out to be related to religious conversion, live-in relationship and character doubt.
Khushi Kumari was a model. She wanted to achieve a high position in the world of modeling, but due to the turmoil in her personal life and some wrong decisions, her life was reduced to a few years.

After the dead body of 19 year old model Khushi Kumari was found, the police started searching for her murderers. The mobile numbers found from the mall were investigated and their contacts were extracted. When the police called his family members, shocking revelations came to light.
Parents told that Khushi was orphan. Someone left him in an orphanage, from where Jagdish Parihar adopted him in the year 2000. There was no information about his birthplace, date of birth and biological parents.
While studying in 10th class, Khushi started getting interested in the modeling world. Initially she used to be a part of small fashion shows. While graduating from Raisoni College, she won the title of Miss Raisoni in the college fest.
In the year 2019, she was also a contestant of Miss India, although she could not become a finalist. In her early years, Khushi left her graduation and started modeling full time.
Adoption couple rejected for Muslim Ashraf Sheikh
Khushi met Ashraf Shaikh while modeling. With time their friendship turned into love. After meeting Ashraf, there was a lot of change in Khushi's mannerisms. She used to go to expensive restaurants and cafes and mostly stayed out of the house. Ashraf had also gifted him a mobile and car. When the family started objecting to his attitude, fights started increasing in the house.

Just a few months ago, Khushi left the house of her poor parents to live a life without any restrictions with Ashraf. When the family objected, Khushi broke relations with them. She used to say that she did not want to live like the poor. After leaving the house, Khushi had lost contact with her family.
After taking the statement of the family, on July 13, the Rural Crime Branch police department arrested Khushi's live-in partner Ashraf from the house in Gittikhadan, where he used to live with Khushi. Ashraf said during interrogation that he had not met Khushi for the last several days, although the police found his statement strange.
Khushi was seen going by car with her boyfriend in CCTV footage.
After Ashraf's refusal, the police started scanning the CCTV footage of Nagpur-Pandurna Highway. During investigation, Ashraf's car (MH-03 AM 4764) was captured on CCTV crossing the toll post at 9.30 pm on July 12. When seen through zoom, Khushi Kumari was also present with Ashraf at that time.
However, when Ashraf's car returned after crossing the toll at 2:30 am on the intervening night of 12-13 July, he was alone in the car.
This evidence was enough for the police. This time he strictly interrogated Ashraf. This time he broke down. In his confession, he confessed that he had murdered Khushi Kumari.
Ashraf told in his statement to the police that he had met Khushi Kumari Parihar in the year 2018. Friendship turned into love and both of them started living in a rented house in Gittikhadan area.
Khushi was very happy in this relationship for a few months, but then bitterness started rising between the two. The ways of Khushi, who dreamed of becoming a big name in the modeling world, were beginning to irritate Ashraf. He often objected to her late night parties, late night modeling shows and meetings with different people. Both of them used to fight fiercely on this issue.
Khushi, on the other hand, was so obsessed with Ashraf that she even got his name tattooed on her hand. She used to share romantic pictures with Ashraf on social media. Khushi even changed her religion to Zara Sheikh for Ashraf.
Amidst differences and fights, Ashraf and Khushi decided to get married in late July, but Ashraf's suspicions on Khushi were increasing.
According to Ashraf's statement given to the police, on July 12, he had taken Khushi for shopping. Both of them did shopping worth Rs 6 thousand from Nagpur Mall and returned home. Khushi wore new clothes and both of them went out for a long drive at night. Everything was fine. Both of them had dinner and drank alcohol at a dhaba near Kalamna on Nagpur-Pandurna Highway. Late in the night both of them left the dhaba to return to Nagpur.
Both were sitting in the car when Ashraf started questioning her about her relationship with other boys. The matter soon turned into an argument, leading to heated arguments between the two. After the argument escalated, an angry Ashraf took them to a hill located near Savli Phata. He took out a tire changing equipment from his car and hit it on his head. In anger, Ashraf kept attacking him until he stopped breathing.
As soon as Khushi died, Ashraf dragged her down the mountain, where he crushed her head with a heavy stone to erase her identity. After this he returned home alone at 2 o'clock in the night.
Investigation revealed that Ashraf's father Afsar Sheikh used to sell ganja illegally in Nagpur. He had a hold in Nagpur, although he had gone to jail several times in this case.
