Lok Sabha results alert BJP for assembly

New Delhi :

Prashant Baghaye

The results of the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections were declared on June 4 and the 'NDA' government came to power once again. However, NDA along with BJP could not achieve the desired target. In 2014 and 2019, BJP crossed the majority mark on its own. BJP could not get even that number this time, the dream of '400 par' is far away… But taking a lesson from this result, BJP has started taking cautious steps…

A few months after the Lok Sabha elections, assembly elections are being held in four states namely Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. Although there are still a few months left for the assembly elections in these four states, the BJP has started preparations for the assembly elections in these states. For all the four states, the BJP has appointed some central ministers along with key party leaders as election in-charges and co-in-charges. Not only this, the meetings of the chief leaders of the respective states are also going on at the BJP headquarters. What issues are important in which state, what can be done to solve the issues that may become problematic, how can the things that were unfavorable in the Lok Sabha be made favorable for the party in the assembly elections, how can the elements that were displeased with the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections be turned back to the BJP? , this is being planned on behalf of BJP.

In the recently held Lok Sabha elections, some states like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, West Bengal did not support the BJP properly. BJP had high expectations from these states. But they could not be completed. Meanwhile, even though BJP got majority with NDA, it is not at all as expected by BJP. Therefore, the BJP is trying its best to ensure that the mistakes that were made in the Lok Sabha should not be made in the Legislative Assembly under any circumstances.

BJP is ready to decentralize leadership if necessary even while distributing responsibilities to various states. BJP has made a plan to capture the upcoming assembly in any situation. Hence, BJP has become alert for the assembly elections after the Lok Sabha elections. Elections are held in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir in the upcoming period. Out of these, Maharashtra and Haryana have coalition governments with the BJP. BJP's aim will be to retain the government in these two states and establish power in the other two states.

BJP worried about 'these' things?

Despite being in power in Maharashtra, the BJP faced a shocking defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. Therefore, the social and political equation in Maharashtra, the issues arising from it, the farmers' issues and the atmosphere created by the opposition against the government, and the social equations in Haryana, the agitation of the farmers, their displeasure and the sympathy of the people towards Hemant Soren in Jharkhand, the displeasure of the local people, the lost seats in the Jharkhand Lok Sabha, etc. BJP may be worried. BJP will have to think about social equations and local environment in Jammu and Kashmir. However, it is remarkable that whatever the election, BJP fights that election with full strength and preparation.
