Leader Online Desk: A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and has sought to disqualify him from contesting elections. Advocate Anand S. Jondhale has filed this petition. The petition has demanded that Modi be disqualified from election for 6 years.
Anand S. Jondhale's petition refers to Modi's April 9 speech in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh. This time, Modi allegedly sought votes in the name of Sikh and Hindu deities and places of worship.
