Leader Online Desk : Bollywood actress Kannaga Ranaut is contesting from Mandi Lok Sabha constituency in Himachal Pradesh. Congress' Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh will contest the election against him, according to Pratibha Singh, the current Congress MP of Mandi and Vikramaditya's mother Pratibha Singh. The party has not yet officially announced the name of Vikramaditya. However, BJP has announced Kangana Ranaut as the candidate from rh'dh mandi. It doesn't matter to us what they do or say. Speaking about the reports of Kannaga eating beef, Vikramaditya Singh said, “I pray to Lord Rama to give him wisdom. 'Devbhumi' will return to Bollywood from Himachal. Because she will not win the election because she has no knowledge about the people of Himachal. He should speak on Himachal Pradesh and Mandi issues. He also asked whether Kangana visited Manali even for a day during the worst monsoon disaster.

Who is Vikramaditya Singh?

Vikramaditya is the son of former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh. He was born on 17 October 1989. Graduated in Masters of Arts (History) from St. Stephen's College, Delhi in 2016. He has done BA (Hons) in 2011 from Hans Raj College, Delhi University. By profession, he is an agriculturist, horticulturist and merchant.

He became an MLA twice in Himachal Pradesh. In 2022, Vikramaditya Singh won the Simla Rural Assembly election by defeating Bharatiya Janata Party's Ravi Mehta by a margin of 13860 votes.In addition, he served as the Himachal Pradesh State Youth Congress chief from 2013 to 2018.
