New Delhi, Leading News Service:Uttar Pradesh MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, who is accused of sexually abusing women wrestlers, has been cut off by the BJP. In his place, his son Karan Bhushan Singh has been nominated from Kaiserganj constituency.

Bajrang Punia Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat, Sangeeta Phogat were accused of sexual harassment against Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, former President of the Wrestling Federation of India. All these wrestlers had also protested against Brijbhushan Sharan Singh in New Delhi. After that, the Executive Committee of the Wrestling Federation of India headed by Brijbhushan Sharan Singh was dismissed.

Western Uttar Pradesh is dominated by the Rajput Thakur community. 5 leaders of this society were the Chief Ministers of the state. Two leaders had reached the post of Prime Minister. Brijabhushan is also a leader of the Thakur community. He has influence over 6 Lok Sabha constituencies including Kaiserganj.

BJP has not given ticket to any Thakur community candidate in 27 Lok Sabha constituencies of Uttar Pradesh. V from Ghaziabad. K. Singh's ticket was also cut. Therefore, there is a lot of resentment in the Thakur community against the BJP. The leaders of this community have opposed the BJP by holding a Maha Panchayat. In this background, there was a big problem before BJP while cutting the ticket of Brijbhushan Sharan Singh.

To remove the displeasure of the Thakur community, the BJP has decided to cut the ticket of Brijbhushan Sharan Singh and field his son Karan Bhushan Singh from Kaiserganj in his place. Karan Bhushan, a national shooting athlete, is currently the president of the Uttar Pradesh Wrestling Federation. He was elected to this post even after his father was accused. Karanbhushan will contest the Lok Sabha elections for the first time.
