Lok Sabha Election : Congress's 'bitter' reaction to Mamata's 'Ekla Chalo', “Prime Minister getting upset…” | leader

Leader Online Desk : The Trinamool Congress today (March 10) announced the names of its candidates from all 42 constituencies in the state for the Lok Sabha elections. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has criticized the decision of Trinamool Congress leader and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. (Lok Sabha Election: Congress Vs Trinamool Congress)

Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has said that, “Trinamool Congress has announced to contest all the Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has distanced herself from the anti-BJP India Alliance, fearing that it will upset Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India will have to go against Prime Minister Modi who remains in the front. They will frequently send to ED in West Bengal and ED and CBI. This will threaten the existence of Trinamool. Therefore, Mamata Banerjee has decided to contest the election on her own to prevent PM Modi from getting upset.” (Lok Sabha Election: Congress Vs Trinamool Congress)

…. Yusuf Pathan should have been sent to the Rajya Sabha

Trinamool Congress has given ticket to former cricketer Yusuf Pathan from Bahrampur constituency. He will face Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary. Talking about this, Choudhary said that if the Trinamool Congress wanted to honor Yusuf Pathan, it should have sent him to the Rajya Sabha. Yusuf Pathan is originally from Gujarat. If Mamata Banerjee had good intentions, she would have asked for a seat in Gujarat for Yusuf Pathan; But he also alleged that they have chosen Yusuf Pathan against the Congress to polarize the common man in West Bengal and help the BJP.

Trinamool Congress will not fight against BJP

Adhir Ranjan Choudhary also said that Trinamool Congress has announced to fight elections on its own and has given a message to Narendra Modi that it will not fight against BJP. (Lok Sabha Election: Congress Vs Trinamool Congress)

Jairam Ramesh also expressed his displeasure

Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh has also expressed displeasure over Trinamool Congress's decision. Speaking to 'ANI', he said, seats should not have been announced unilaterally in this way. I don't know what pressure was on Trinamool Congress. Congress wanted an honorable seat-sharing formula with Trinamool in West Bengal. The party was also ready to discuss this. Make some compromises. We have always said that our doors are open for negotiations and seat sharing discussions. But unilateral declaration of seats is not appropriate.”
