Lok Sabha Election 2024 | What is Plan B if BJP does not reach majority?; Big revelation of Amit Shah

Leaders Online Desk: Congress and India Alliance of Opposition parties are alleging that BJP wants to win more than 400 seats to change the constitution. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has clarified his position on it. Amit Shah has rejected the opposition's allegation that the BJP wants to win more than 400 Lok Sabha seats to change the constitution. In an interview to news agency ANI, he said that the BJP had a mandate to amend the constitution in the last decade, but we did not do so.

“In the last 10 years, we had a majority to change the constitution. But we never did. My party does not have a history of abusing the majority. Congress has a history of misusing its majority under Indira Gandhi.” Amit Shah has hit back at the opposition.

'If the BJP does not reach the majority, is Plan B ready?' Amit Shah has given an answer to this in an interview given to ANI. “When plan A has less than a 60 percent chance of success, plan B must be made. I am sure that Prime Minister Modi will come to power with a huge majority…” Shah expressed his belief.

Repeal of Article 370, construction of Ram Mandir

Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized on the achievements of the BJP saying that it has fulfilled its promises like abrogation of Article 370 and construction of Ram temple. “We scrapped Article 370. Abolished the practice of triple talaq and took up the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. We brought in the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) on the basis of mandate during our last ten years of rule,” he added.

What will happen to '400 par'?

BJP has announced '400 Par' this time. When asked about this announcement, Amit Shah said it was necessary for a big step. There is not much difference between 400 par and 272 and BJP is just an expansion. “We never needed 400 seats to hit a big milestone; We can do it now. Won't the BJP expand itself?” He has also mentioned.
