Lok Sabha Election 2024: Voting begins for 57 seats in eight states in the final phase









Leader Online Desk: In the seventh phase of the last Lok Sabha elections, voting is taking place in 57 constituencies in eight states and Union Territories today (1st). 7 am Voting starts from In the last phase, 10 crore 6 lakh voters will exercise their right to vote. It includes 5 crore 24 lakh male and 4 crore 28 lakh female voters.

In the final phase, voting is going on in maximum 13 constituencies in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, polling will be held in West Bengal 9, Bihar 8, Odisha 6, Himachal Pradesh 4, Jharkhand 3 and one seat in Chandigarh. After that, the election results will be announced on June 4.

As soon as the polls are over, all eyes will be on the exit polls. In the last phase, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the fate of 3 Union Ministers will be locked in the EVM machine. Modi from Varanasi constituency and Union Minister Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey is contesting from Chandauli, Anupriya Patel from Mirzapur and Minister of State Pankaj Chaudhary from Maharajganj constituency.
