Lok sabha election 2024 : Vote BJP over Trinamool; Adhir Ranjan's shocking statement









Leader Online Desk : It is better to vote for BJP than to vote for Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress party, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary made a shocking statement while addressing a campaign meeting on Tuesday (April 30). The video of his statement has also been shared on social media. Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has chosen to remain silent, implying that he has not seen the video by Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary.

State president of West Bengal Congress and Bahrampur Lok Sabha candidate Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary speaking in his mother tongue Bengali in the campaign meeting said that this election will decide the future of the country. People should vote for secular forces. Congress and Left must win. If not, secularism will be in danger. Voting for TMC means voting for BJP, so it is better to vote for BJP,” Chaudhary said while speaking in Bengali.

Congress aims to reduce BJP's number of seats

Reacting to Adhir Ranjan's remarks, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said, “I have not seen the video and do not know in what context he has said this; But I want to make it clear that the only objective of the Congress party is to reduce the number of seats won by the BJP in 2019”.

Left parties and Congress India are in alliance. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had also said that the TMC was part of the alliance. However, there is no seat allocation between Congress and Trinamool Congress in Bengal for the Lok Sabha elections.

Trinamool Congress's reply to Chaudhary

BJP has repeatedly insulted the icons of Bengal. Only West Bengal opposition can promote BJP. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary is working as B team of BJP in West Bengal. B-Team members are openly asking people to vote for BJP, the people of Bahrampur will give a befitting reply to this betrayal on May 13, Trinamool Congress has responded.
