Leader Online Desk : Rahul Gandhi has been running the Congress 'unsuccessfully' for the past ten years; But if you have been doing the same job for the past ten years, there is nothing wrong with taking a break, making it clear that they are not ready to step aside and let someone else take over the reins of the party. Election strategist Prashant Kishor has suggested that Rahul Gandhi should take a break for five years if the Congress does not get the expected results in the Lok Sabha elections.
Rahul Gandhi thinks he knows everything….
Speaking to 'PTI', Prashant Kishor said that an important characteristic of an effective leader around the world is that he admits his own shortcomings. Also, once a deficiency is recognized, efforts are made to overcome it; But Rahul Gandhi thinks he knows everything. No one can help you if you don't admit you need help. They want someone who they feel is right for them. But this is not feasible, Kishore also clarified.
Rahul Gandhi took the leadership of the party indirectly
The Congress party was defeated in the 2019 elections. After this, Rahul Gandhi resigned from the post of Congress President. At that time there was a discussion among the Congress MPs that Rahul Gandhi would hand over the leadership of the party to someone else. But he did the exact opposite and indirectly took the leadership of the party in his hands. Many Congress leaders admit that no decision can be taken in the party without their approval. Congress and its supporters go beyond any individual. He also expressed hope that Rahul Gandhi should not insist that he should do anything for the party alone despite his repeated failures. He also suggested that Rahul Gandhi should take a break for five years if the Congress does not get the expected results in the Lok Sabha elections.
Congress party should first try to perfect its system
Congress was in power during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. At that time Congress fell from 206 to 44. At that time BJP had limited influence on various institutions. Many BJP leaders played an important role in making the election campaign a success. But for the last ten years, Congress is struggling to perfect its system. Kishore has also said that they need to pay attention to this first.
