Lok sabha Election 2024 Results : TDP gets majority in Andhra Pradesh! Chandrababu Naidu talks with Prime Minister Modi









Leader Online Desk : Lok Sabha Election Results : Along with the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections across the country, the counting of votes for the assembly elections is also underway in Andhra Pradesh. According to the trend so far, Chandrababu Naidu's party TDP is getting a huge majority. The trend suggests that TDP may form the government here on its own. However, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have contested the elections together in the state. Meanwhile, Naidu has discussed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over phone.

What is the status of which party in Andhra Pradesh?

In Andhra Pradesh, TDP is leading in 130 seats. YSRCP and JNP are leading on 19 seats each. At the same time, BJP is leading in 7 seats. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has asked the governor for 4 o'clock time to resign. YS Jagan to resign as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Jagan Mohan Reddy will submit his resignation to Governor S Abdul Nazeer. Currently he is having an internal meeting with colleagues.

TDP had contested on 144 seats

Elections were held in Andhra Pradesh on May 13 along with the Lok Sabha elections. YSRCP under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy contested all 175 seats. TDP under the leadership of N Chandrababu Naidu had fielded its candidates on 144 seats. Apart from this, actor Pawan Kalyan-led Janasena Party (JSP) contested 21 seats, while BJP contested 10 seats. 2,387 candidates were in the fray for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.
