New Delhi, Leading News Service: The India Alliance on Wednesday (6th) clarified its position on the possibilities of government formation at the Centre. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge informed that Bharat Aghadi will not try to form the government at present. Information is coming out that they have taken this decision after discussing with all the constituent parties held in Delhi.
Leaders of the Indian Alliance held a meeting at the Congress President's residence. Lok Sabha election results and upcoming strategy were discussed. Mallikarjun Kharge said that we fought together, we fought in coordination and we fought with full strength. Congratulations to you all! Public opinion in the 18th Lok Sabha elections is directly against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Elections were contested in his name and face. People have given a clear message of their leadership by not giving majority to BJP. This is not only a political defeat but also a moral defeat for Modiji personally. But we all know their habits. They will do everything possible to deny this opinion.
We say that Bharat Aghadi welcomes all political parties who have unwavering faith in the preamble to the Constitution of India and are committed to the goals of economic, social and political justice. Kharge's remarks came shortly after leaders of the opposition India Bloc began a crucial discussion at the Congress chief's residence in New Delhi on the possibility of government formation and the alliance's future strategy.
