Lok Sabha Election 2024 : Import candidates in 11 places in Karnataka leader

Out of 28 constituencies in Karnataka, 11 constituencies are contested by migrant candidates from other districts. The three major political parties in the state have made this choice keeping in mind the opposition to the respective leaders in their own constituencies along with criteria such as caste-wise votes, influence.

Senior BJP leader Jagdish Shettar hails from Dharwad district. He has been nominated from Belgaum. Minister Satish Jarkiholi's daughter Priyanka Jarkiholi is the Congress candidate from Chikodi. They are originally from Gokak. Although Shobha Karandlaje hails from Mangalore, she has been nominated from Bangalore North. Earlier, she was elected as an MLA from Yesvantpur Assembly Constituency which falls in Bangalore North Constituency. He had to accept defeat in Rajajinagar. After that he was nominated from Udpi-Chikkamagalur Lok Sabha constituency. Now she is fighting from Bangalore North. Prof. of Congress against him. M. V. Rajeev Gowda is fighting. They are also from Kolar district. In Bangalore rural Dr. C. N. Manjunath is a BJP candidate. But, he originally hails from Channarayapattan in Hassan.

In Mandya, BJP-Nijad alliance candidate H. D. Kumaraswamy is contesting the elections. His political constituency is Ramnagar. Congress candidate from Chikkaballapur Raksha Ramaiah is from Bangalore city. Geeta Shivrajkumar is the Congress candidate from Shimogya. This is their specialty. She hails from Chamrajnagar district and resides in Bangalore.

Bagalkot Congress candidate Samyukta Patil is the daughter of Minister Shivanand Patil. They are originally from Bijapur district. Tumkur BJP candidate V. Somanna hails from Kanakpur. But, he was elected as corporator, MLA in Bangalore. Congress candidate of Kolar K. V. Gautam is a resident of Bangalore city district. He was the Congress District President of Bangalore Central. Both the candidates are imports here in Chitradurga. Congress candidate here B. N. Chandrappa hails from Mudigere. BJP candidate Govind Karjol is from Bagalkot.
