New Delhi, Leading News Service : Lok Sabha Election 2024 : The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday (21st) announced the third list of nine candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. After that on Friday (22nd) BJP has announced the fourth list. The list includes one candidate from Tamil Nadu and one from Puducherry. In both the third and fourth lists, the BJP has announced candidates mainly from south Indian seats.
In the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will go to polls in the first phase i.e. on April 19. In the Puducherry Lok Sabha seat, BJP has A. Namashivayam has been nominated. This seat is currently held by the Congress.
In the third list of BJP, Tamil Nadu state president K Annamalai was nominated from Coimbatore Lok Sabha constituency. Tamilisai Sundararajan, who resigned as the Governor of Telangana, was nominated from Chennai South. He also held the post of Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.
