Lok Sabha Election 2024: Congress announces 4 Lok Sabha candidates from Punjab









New Delhi, Leading News Service : Lok Sabha Election 2024 : Congress announced the list of 4 candidates from Punjab for the Lok Sabha elections on Monday. There are total 13 Lok Sabha constituencies in Haryana. In Punjab, Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal are fighting a four-way battle. Congress has so far announced 12 out of 13 seats in this four-way contest.

In the list announced by the Congress on Monday, state president Amarinder Singh Barar has been nominated from Ludhiana and Congress national general secretary Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa from Gurdaspur constituency. Kulbir Singh Zira has been nominated from Khadur Sahib constituency. Also former MP Vijay Inder Singla has been nominated from Anandpur Sahib constituency. A meeting of the Congress Central Election Committee was held on Saturday, in which these four names were sealed. Punjab is going to vote in the last phase i.e. on June 1.

Meanwhile, Manish Tiwari, sitting Congress MP from Anandpur Sahib, has already been nominated from Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency. Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu has joined the BJP.
