New Delhi; Leading News Service: Bhiwandi Lok Sabha seat should be contested by Congress. Bhiwandi Lok Sabha Congress party has been fighting since the independence of the country. Therefore, Congress leader and District President of Bhiwandi Congress Dayanand Chorghe expressed a clear opinion that the claim of Sharad Pawar faction of NCP on Bhiwandi Lok Sabha is wrong. While the Congress has a claim in the Mahavikas Aghadi, the NCP Sharad Pawar group has also claimed this seat.
Many events are going on in the state and the country on the occasion of the Lok Sabha elections. The first phase of elections is upon us. However, still the seat allocation formula of Maha Vikas Aghadi and Maha Uyoti has not been decided in the state. There are still talks between the alliance and the alliance in both places for some seats. Bhiwandi Congress District President Dayanand Chorghe took an aggressive stance for the Congress to fight for Bhiwandi Lok Sabha constituency in Mahavikas Aghadi. Meanwhile, Nationalist Congress Sharad Pawar group has also claimed this seat.
Dayanand Chorghe interacted with the media when he was on a visit to Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, he said that “Bhiwandi Lok Sabha Constituency has been contested by the Congress party since the independence of the country. Almost nine times Congress MP was elected from Bhiwandi. Therefore, the claim of the NCP Sharad Pawar group on the Bhiwandi Lok Sabha is wrong,” he directly replied to the NCP Sharad Pawar group. He also said that “Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Congress state president Nana Patole, Balasaheb Thorat will follow the orders given by the senior group”. But on this occasion, it was seen that the seat allocation in Mahavikas Aghadi is still not clear.
