'Trinamool' in its tweet said, “Congress MP was caught red-handed during broad daylight violently punching our party worker. CCTV footage has recorded this shameful act for all to see. This type is called 'pure hooliganism'. Your hooliganism in Bahrampur will not go unnoticed. Your fear of losing the election is evident in your actions. The workers will not help you at all!”

Bahrampur Constituency is the bastion of Congress
Since 1999, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has never lost from Bahrampur Lok Sabha constituency. Voting will be held in Baharapur on May 13 in the fifth phase. Lok Sabha elections will be held in all seven phases in West Bengal.
