New Delhi, Leading News Service: BJP's ally Rashtriya Lok Dal Party spokesperson Rohit Jakhar has resigned from the party after Karanbhushan Singh, son of Uttar Pradesh BJP leader Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, who was accused of sexually abusing women wrestlers, was given a ticket in the Kaiserganj constituency.
By giving ticket to Brijbhushan Sharan Singh's son, BJP has insulted women wrestlers. Honor of the country is first for me. Rohit Jakhar has said that the resignation of the post of spokesperson and primary membership of the party has been sent to the party president Jayant Chaudhary.
