Leader Online Desk: Three persons were injured in a knife attack by unknown assailants during the National Conference (NC) road show in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district today (19th). Former National Conference MLA Javed Rana termed the incident as a major security lapse.
The incident took place in Mendhar area when National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah and party candidate from Anantnag Mian Altaf Rajouri were addressing a public meeting. The injured are National Conference workers. He was brought to the Upazila Hospital of ss-fhM Mendar. As the condition of two of the injured is critical, they have been admitted to the Government Medical College in Rajouri.
Speaking about this incident, former National Conference MLA Javed Rana said, “Our youth has been attacked amid such security. The police should immediately nab the attackers and take action against them.”
