Recently, Kartik Aaryan was in the news because of the film Chandu Champion. Some time ago, news came that Kartik has left Karan Johar's film Dostana 2. Reports claimed that due to some differences, Kartik and Karan parted ways.

Now Karthik has talked to Dainik Bhaskar on this issue. Karthik says that he has come to the industry to work, not to make friends. He also said that miscommunication keeps happening in professional life.

At the same time, director Kabir Khan also talked to us after the success of the film Chandu Champion. He gave his opinion on Anurag Kashyap's statement, in which Anurag had said that nowadays projects are made instead of films.

Question- Kartik and Kabir, have you both ever had self-doubt? If yes, then how did you get yourself out of it later?
answer-
Kabir says- There comes a moment in everyone's life when a person starts doubting himself. It is normal to feel like this in both personal and professional life. You start questioning your own process whether you are doing the right thing or not. But I believe that a person should work hard and not get confused by his own ideology. As a result, you will definitely get success.

At the same time, Kartik said- Yes, it is very normal to feel self-doubt. There was a situation in my life when I thought I would not be able to get out of it. But then there is a small ray of hope, which motivates you to move forward.

When such a situation arises, I think that when I joined this industry, even then I had nothing. Even today I have nothing to lose. At the most, I will reach the position from where I started. With this thought, I motivate myself to move forward every time.

Question- Kartik, when it was announced that you are not a part of Karan Johar's film Dostana 2, fans felt that you have been sidelined. What do you have to say on this?
answer-
I felt very bad when I parted ways with this project. However, all this is inevitable. You should always try to make people see your work more than you. Anyway, I have come here to work, not to make friends. Obviously, sometimes there is miscommunication at work and you have to deal with it.

Anyway, I have moved on from this and am working on new projects. I am in a very good condition right now. I have no complaints with anyone right now. I want that in future I do not have any miss communication with anyone. Right now my focus is only on the film Chandu Champion. I am thinking about the good memories associated with this film. I always try to remember positive things.

Question- Kabir, Anurag Kashyap recently said that people are making projects and not films. What do you have to say as a director?
answer-
I always think differently from the trends prevailing in the market. I look for a story to make a film that can inspire me. I become so passionate about that story that I feel that this is the story I have to tell to people. Then I do not think that if a film is made on this story, then which genre will it be, whether it fits in the trend or not.

Luckily, we have found producers willing to invest money on such stories. We have also found actors willing to work with them. I also believe that films should be made in this manner.

I agree with Anurag Kashyap that in today's era, more projects are being made. If you want to do business, then you should make them.

During Chandu Champion, we also focused on those areas where recovery was possible. We brought Kartik and Sajid Nadiadwala together to show it on screen. Today we are very happy that people are liking the film and we are also financially secure.

Anyway, we are not traders who sell things according to the trend. We are film makers, we should make only those in which we are perfect. I believe that if needed, we should compromise according to the budget, but never compromise with the vision. However, I was lucky that I did not have to compromise even with the budget for the film Chandu Champion. Sajid is a very good collaborator, who supported us completely.

Q. Karthik, does box office performance affect you a lot?
answer-
I don't pay much attention to these things. If I do that, I won't be able to explore myself by playing different kinds of characters. When I sign a new project, I don't think about how much the film will collect. I just think about who all are associated with the film and how much career growth I will get from the character I am going to play. This is the reason why people have seen me in different kinds of characters.
