Alia Bhatt is in the headlines these days for her upcoming film 'Jigra'. This film will be released on 11 October. However, some reports are claiming that Alia Bhatt was not director Vasan Bala's first choice for this film. Not only this, when producer Karan Johar sent the story of the film to Alia, Vasan did not like it.

During a conversation with Tried and Refuse Production, director of 'Jigra' film Vasan Bala said, 'I had sent a rough mail to Karan Johar with some ideas. Shortly after this, I get a call from Karan and he says that he has shared this mail with Alia. I was not happy with this, because if I had known that this email would also be sent to Alia, I would have at least checked the grammar and spelling in the script or written the story a little more correctly.

Vasan said, 'I asked Karan why he did this, he said no, it just happens. Then he said that let us meet and discuss this in a day or two. A month later, Alia gave birth to Raha. Then we met and discussed the story. Now because Karan Johar had said that I will narrate the story to Alia, I completed the rest of the story in the car itself.

Alia Bhatt was also present in this interview. He said, 'I liked the story of the film Jigra very much. I was quite impressed with the first part. But still wanted to hear the further story. But perhaps Vasan Bala wanted to cast someone else in this film. However, Vasan denied this.

Talking about the film 'Jigra', Vedang Raina will also be seen sharing the screen with Alia Bhatt, who is playing the role of her brother. The story of this film is based on brother and sister. Alia's film will hit the theaters on October 11. Which will compete with Rajkumar Rao and Trupti Dimri's film 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'.
