The debate between Karan Johar and Divya Khosla Kumar has been going on since the release of Alia Bhatt starrer film Jigra. Actually, Divya alleges that Karan Johar has made Jigra by copying her film Saavi. After being accused of stealing the script, Divya had recently shared pictures of empty theaters in Jigra and said that Alia had bought the tickets of her film and got the fake collection announced. After this, Karan Johar shared a post and called Divya a fool without taking her name.
Divya had written in the post yesterday, 'Went to PVR of City Mall to watch Jigra, the theater was completely empty. In fact, all theaters everywhere are going empty. Alia Bhatt really has a lot of courage, she bought the tickets herself and announced the fake collection. I wonder why the paid media is silent? The public should not be fooled. Truth over lies.
In response to this, Karan Johar has written without taking name, remaining silent is the best answer for idiots.
After Karan's post came out, Divya Khosla wrote in response, 'Truth always provokes the fools who stand against it. In the next post he wrote, when you shamelessly steal the things of others by claiming them, then you will have to save yourself by remaining silent. You have no voice and no backbone.
What is the whole issue?
Divya Khosla Kumar's film Saavi was released on 31 May 2024. The film was the story of a sister who tries to save her brother. Recently, on October 11, Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina starrer film Jigra was released, whose storyline matches perfectly with Savi.
Ever since the trailer of Jigra came out, Divya's team has been accusing Jigra makers of stealing Savi's story. His PR team had given this information by sharing a note.
The actress alleges that Alia stole the script of her film and then along with director Vasan Bala, changed it and released it under the name 'Jigra'.
