Kangana Ranaut recently shared a funny story about getting her first film Gangster. The actress has told that she had come to Mumbai from Himachal Pradesh for a photoshoot of a modeling agency and according to the contract she had to return. However, in her desire to become a heroine, the actress broke her SIM and did not return to Himachal Pradesh after the shoot. She gave many auditions while staying in Mumbai, through which she got her first film Gangster. However, her father was very angry with her for getting this film.

Recently, in Raj Shamani's podcast, Kangana Ranaut said, when I got Gangster, I told my parents. They had no idea who Mahesh Bhatt was. But they knew about the film Murder, which was famous for all the bad reasons (nudity and bold scenes). Anurag was the director of that film and he was making Gangster. I told my father that he (Anurag Kashyap) has made a film Murder. And on hearing this, my father got furious. He said, tell him to come back, what is this. He turned off the phone and went out.

When Chitrangada left, Kangana got Gangster

Kangana has told that Chitrangada was cast in the film before her. She said, I was 16 years old at that time. I had just left school and then came here. In 2003 I was in 12th class and in 2004 I was in Mumbai. Imagine how quickly this happened. I also had a baby face. So Anurag Kashyap took Chitrangada. Because in that film Shiney and Simran had a 4-5 year old child. So he wanted to take an actor who looked like a mother. However, Chitrangada switched off her phone. She left the film due to personal reasons.

Kangana has told that after Chitrangada left the film, Anurag Kashyap signed her in his film.

A week after signing the film, a production person came to Kangana asking for a passport. However, Kangana did not have a passport at that time. She has told that no one in her family has ever gone out of the country. Only once her grandfather went to Nepal, so Kangana called her father and requested him to get a passport made quickly with the help of his identity, because he was a part of the Congress party.

Initially, her father was upset, but when Kangana told him that if she did not get a passport, she would lose this opportunity, he did not give her an answer but got her passport made in just 2 days and sent her to Mumbai.

Let us tell you that Kangana Ranaut made her acting debut with the 2006 film Gangster. Emraan Hashmi and Shiney Ahuja were in the lead roles with her in the film. The first film itself was a hit and Kangana got recognition across the country.

Let us tell you that Kangana Ranaut will soon be seen in the film Emergency. The film will be released on 6 September, the trailer of which has been released. Kangana has played the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film. Kangana herself has also directed and produced the film. Along with Kangana, actors like Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade and Mahima Chaudhary will be seen in the film.
