BJP had expressed disagreement with Kangana's statement
In an interview to Bhaskar, Kangana had said that if the government was not strong, Punjab would have become Bangladesh. When this statement was opposed, the BJP said that this is Kangana's own opinion, not the party's.
BJP issued a press release on 26 August saying that the party disagrees with Kangana's statement. Kangana is not allowed to speak on the party's policy issues. The party had also instructed her not to make such statements in future.
