The next hearing of the case has been fixed for December 5. A petition was filed against the actress by former District Bar Association president Ravinder Singh Bassi.

It was said in the petition that Kangana has tried to tarnish the image of Sikhs in the film. However, the film has not been released yet.

This argument is given in the petition Ravinder Bassi has said in the petition that Kangana has made the film without reading the history. This will affect the image of Sikhs. He said that she is not the only one responsible for this. Screenplay writer Ritesh Shah and Zee Studio are also responsible for this. In such a situation, he has made them as defendants apart from Kangana.

As soon as the trailer of this film was released, protests against it started in Punjab and Chandigarh. Sikh organizations were demanding a ban on this film. The matter also reached the court.

On hearing this case in the High Court, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had told that the film has not been given a certificate yet. After this, about a week ago, the CBFC gave the film a U/A certificate.

CBFC had raised objections on many scenes of this film, due to which this film will now be released in a few weeks after many cuts and changes. CBFC has given instructions to delete 3 scenes from this film. It has also given strict instructions that 10 changes should be made in the film before releasing it.

there is nothing wrong with the movie

Kangana has said that nothing wrong has been shown in her film. I have got a certificate from the censor board. 4 historians have supervised my film. We have all the documents. But some people are calling Bhindranwale a saint, leader and revolutionary.

They have threatened to get my film banned. I have also received threats. Previous governments had called Khalistanis terrorists. He (Bhindranwale) is not a saint who sits in a temple with an AK47. Only a few people have objections to my film who are instigating others as well. However, the case related to the film is also being heard in a Mumbai court on September 18.
