Read this first to see what Kangana said on getting the ticket.
I have always given my unconditional support to my beloved India and the party of common Indians, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Today the national leadership of BJP has declared me the Lok Sabha candidate from my birthplace Mandi. I will follow this decision of the high command. I am honored and excited to officially join the party. I will try to become a capable worker and public representative.

Kangana is a resident of Mandi.
Kangana Ranaut is originally from village Bhambla in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. He has also built a house in Manali district of Kullu. Mandi Lok Sabha seat covers 9 out of 10 assembly constituencies of Mandi district and all 4 assembly constituencies of Kullu district. This is the reason why considering Kangana's connections at both the places, BJP has gambled on her.

Kangana Ranaut has been quite vocal on political issues for the last few years. In Sushant Rajput's case, he had made a lot of ideological attacks on some selected people of Bollywood.

Kangana's next film Emergency
Kangana Ranaut's last release was Tejas. Tejas could not show much success. Now there is a lot of discussion about Kangana's upcoming film 'Emergency'. The special thing is that the film 'Emergency' has been directed by Kangana Ranaut. Kangana has played the role of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi in the political drama 'Emergency'.
