The post, made in the wake of Kangana Ranawat's Lok Sabha nomination, contained a photo of Kangana Ranawat and an offensive text attached to the photo. However, after realizing the whole incident, Supriya Srineet herself gave an explanation in this regard. Kangana Ranaut on Supriya Shrinate

Supriya Srineet said, “My social media accounts are owned by a few people including me. A disgusting and offensive post was made by one of them. However, the post was immediately removed after I noticed it. Anyone who knows me knows that a woman would never say that. Also a fake account is being run in my name and there is a possibility of some misuse from it. A complaint has been lodged against the person who committed this misdeed,” she added.

Kangana has been nominated from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh in the fifth list of BJP announced for the upcoming Lok Sabha on Sunday. Meanwhile, Kangana also strongly responded to the offensive post from Supriya Srinet's social media account. Kangana posted on X, “Dear Supriya Ji, In my last 20 years of career as an artist, I have played all kinds of female roles. From a naive girl in Rani to a spy in Dhakad, from a goddess in Manikarnika to a demon in Chandramukhi, from a prostitute in Rajjo to a revolutionary leader in Thalaivi. We must free our girls from the shackles of prejudice, we must go beyond the curiosity of their bodies. Every woman deserves her dignity.” Kangana has also written.

After the Congress vs BJP war of words on this occasion, it will be important to see if any action is taken in this case.
