The new release date of South Star Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD' will be announced on 21st April. According to media reports, the makers are preparing to make a big announcement on Sunday which will surprise the fans.
According to sources, earlier its release date was said to be May 9, 2024 but now it is being said that the makers are going to announce its new release date.
Actually, there are reports of the film's release date being postponed due to the Lok Sabha elections. Apart from this, it is also being speculated that the makers may also share some big update related to the story of the film or its characters.

If we look at the budget, this year the biggest bet has been placed on 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Its budget is 600 crores. It has been made by the well-known director of Telugu cinema, Nag Ashwin. Apart from Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan will also be seen in this pan Indian film.
This film is going to prove to be very important for Prabhas because last year his film 'Adipurush' was also made with a budget of Rs 600 crore, but it proved to be a flop. Whereas 'Salar' was successful in doing business of Rs 590 crore.
