Kajol said – Karva Chauth became famous from my film: Said on Singham series – We have no comparison; Kriti told the scary story of Corona – Jaipur News

Actress Kajol, who is playing the role of police in the film 'Do Patti', says on comparison with 'Singham' – 'It is not easy to become 'Singham'. This requires hard work. I am very down to earth, very humble. Yes, if someone gives me a jeep instead of a bike, it will definitely be 'Singham'.

Kajol came to Jaipur Raj Mandir (Cinema House) with her co-star Kriti Sanon and actor Shahir Sheikh on Sunday. Here he had a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar during the promotion of the film. Kajol told that the fast of Karva Chauth became famous with her film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'.

Kriti Sanon has started becoming a producer with this film, which will be released on Netflix on October 25. He is in a double role in this.

Kriti shared memories related to Jaipur. Said- Earlier, she was in Mandawa (Jhunjhunu) of Rajasthan during the shoot of Mimi. At the same time Covid came. In this case, the Italian couple in the hotel where I stayed had Covid. As soon as I came to know about this, I could not sleep the whole night and developed fever.

The starcast of the film 'Do Patti' was in Jaipur on Sunday. During this, the film was promoted at Raj Mandir cinema hall.

Karwa Chauth came into trend with 'Bole Chudiyan' Kajol, who came to promote the film on the day of Karva Chauth, said – This time due to the promotion of the film, I have not been able to keep the fast, but before coming to Jaipur, I have prepared a puja thali with my mother-in-law at home and touched her.

Kajol said- Karva Chauth came in trade because of my films. The song 'Bole Chudiyan' from 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' had changed the atmosphere of the country. He said- Nowadays, Karva Chauth is being celebrated by wearing heavy jewelery and heavy lehenga. If I had known, we would have celebrated Karva Chauth in pyjamas. Celebrate it by wearing normal salwar-kameez. We do not say that you should take out all the jewelery from the safe and wear it. After our film, the entire country's perspective regarding Karva Chauth changed.

Kajol said-

I always try to do good films. I also wish to do a full flash comedy film and I will definitely do it. This is my dream. This is included in my wish list.

No competition from Singam

Kajol said- I was offered many films, in which I was offered the role of a police officer. I read a lot of scripts for this, but I never accepted them. Many things have to be kept in mind while choosing a script. You should get the right producer, you should get the right character. If you are choosing a character, then its story should also be connecting in every way.

I also don't want the entire film to depend on one character. In such a situation, I got to see everything that I wanted in the story of the film 'Do Patti'. Kajol said on chemistry with Kriti – I have worked with Kriti after 9 years. Earlier we had worked together in 'Dilwale' and it was very relaxing to see Kriti working here. Many types of changes were seen in them. This time we have worked a lot together. We did not get that much opportunity together in 'Dilwale'. So it was a lot of fun working this time.

Kajol is playing the role of a police officer in the film. On the question of comparison with Singham, he jokingly said-

To be honest, there is no competition, both the films are completely different. Our film has the feel of mystery, suspense thriller, we are not releasing on the big screen, we are releasing on OTT. Singham is a different kind of film.

figure of 36 with two wheeler Kajol said- When I got this film, my first reaction to the director was that there is a problem in accepting it. My problem with the two wheeler is the figure of 36. I am very afraid of bike riding. So this is what I told them, how will they shoot me with the bike? I also gave them the option to make the bike a jeep or a four wheeler. I can also drive a truck, but he rejected all the ideas. My director told me that this is not possible, you cannot drive a truck, you cannot drive a tempo. You will have to ride a bike only. I convinced them a lot, but I had to shoot with the bike only.

On the question of Film City in Rajasthan, Kajol said-

It is true that husband Ajay had also tried for Film City in Jaipur. In true sense, there is a great coordination between Rajasthan and Mumbai. We have shot a lot here, I have also shot a lot, Ajay has shot a lot here. Rajasthan is not at all disconnected from the film industry, it should be so when it comes to film city. If we can manage it, well then it must be built.

Stay away from sob stories

Kajol said- When I was 18 years old, I did a film 'Udhaar Ki Zindagi', that was my third film. I did that film with a lot of heart and I had to cry a lot in that film. I cried a lot in that. After that film, I told my mother that 'I am totally burnt out' and now I will not do any film. I don't want to do films with good roles, I am tired. I have to do those films, the films in which heroines have three-four songs, I have to do those films, so that I don't have to put glycerine in those films and cry.

The star cast of the film also had fun with the little fan.

DDLJ became a family tradition today Kajol said- DDLJ has completed 29 years. Today I met his film distributor Raj Bansal ji. We also talked about this. We were talking that we cannot even enter the Guinness Book regarding this film, because we will have to update it every year. This film became a national history and also became a part of international history. I meet a lot of people when they say that we watched this film in a Maratha temple and only after that we got married. Then now our children also go with us to Maratha Mandir to watch DDLJ. In a way, it has become a part of the family tradition.

A new type of double role in the film Kriti Sanon said- People have seen double roles in many films, Sita-Geeta, Chaalbaaz, Tanu and Manu Returns, there are many such films. In most of the films I have seen, the characters playing double roles get separated in the Kumbh Mela and live separate lives and then meet somewhere. In our film, we two sisters do not get separated. In such a situation, playing two characters together, both of whom have different emotions. It was very challenging. Technically it is also very challenging. Many types of angles are used in it. A few minutes after the character of the girl I played, I had to play the character of a different kind of girl. In such a situation, there should not be even the slightest emotion. It becomes very tough to do double duty work.

Memories related to Rajasthan during Covid Regarding Rajasthan connection with the film Mimi, Kriti said that she has very good memories from Rajasthan through this film and at the end a little shocking memory was also included. We shot this film mostly in Mandawa. There was a very good atmosphere. When the last shoot of the film was going on, Covid also started during this time. Covid started from Rajasthan itself. Cases of some Italian couples and groups were reported in Jaipur itself. On the second last day of the shoot, I came to know that the Italian group was staying in the same hotel where I was staying. Till then there was not much information about Covid and what it is? But after this I became worried as to what disease this was. I remember I couldn't sleep that night, I had fever. But still many good memories from here remain in my mind till date. I also came to Jaipur for the film Teri Baton Mein Uljha Jiya.

Kajol came to Jaipur Raj Temple with her co-star Kriti Sanon and actor Shahir Sheikh on Sunday.

Kriti's debut as a producer Kriti Sanon said- As a producer, there are many responsibilities in making a film. This is my first experience of this kind. Although I have not done this work alone, I have done this work in collaboration with my co-producer Kanika. I have two characters on the screen and if I, as a producer, had been present there as the third character, it would have been very difficult.

Shahir Sheikh's Bollywood debut Shaheer Sheikh said- I had no physical preparation, but I had to understand the character and what the writer-director was thinking. Prepared myself with them. There were a lot of layers in the character, so I saw that tell me a lot and the actor will get to work. That's why I chose this film, it is my debut from TV to Bollywood.
