Leader Online Desk: The judicial custody of BRS leader K Kavita has been extended till April 23 on Tuesday in the Delhi liquor policy money laundering case. He was produced in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court after the end of his custody on Tuesday (9th). This time the court has extended K Kavita's custody by another 14 days. Speaking to the media after appearing in the court, BRS MLC K Kavita said, “This case is purely based on a statement. This is a political matter. This is a case of targeting the opposition parties”, he criticized the central government and the investigating agency. Kavita also said that CBI has already recorded my statement in jail. Hearing on regular bail application on April 20
K. Kavita is currently in judicial custody in the Delhi liquor policy scam case. He had sought interim bail in a Delhi court on the grounds that his son had an exam. ED has opposed this application. But the court has reserved this decision without giving any decision. Meanwhile, the hearing on his regular bail application will be held on Saturday, April 20, the court has also clarified.
K. Are there 'these' allegations against Kavita?
K. Kavita is a member of Legislative Council of Telangana. Amit Arora, the accused in the money laundering case related to liquor policy in Delhi, during the interrogation of K. Kavita was named. After that Kavita came on the radar of ED. The ED has alleged that a liquor lobby called 'South Group' paid a bribe of Rs 100 crore to AAP leaders through another accused, Vijay Nair. Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal are currently in jail in this case. AAP leader MP Sanjay Singh has been released on bail a few days ago. (K.
