John Abraham spoke on the controversy in the press conference: Journalist was planted to provoke me, I was not asked the right questions

Actor John Abraham is in the news for his upcoming film Veda. Recently, at the trailer launch of this film, he had a heated argument with an entertainment journalist. He even called the journalist an idiot.

Now the actor has given his opinion on this issue. He said that the journalist was planted to provoke him. Those people were not even asking him the right questions.

“Maybe I shouldn't have done that, but it happened.”

In an interview to Ranveer Allahbadia, John said- There was a press conference of my film Veda which is releasing on 15th August. A journalist was seated there to provoke me. I also want to say that he won and I lost because I got angry.

First of all, I have not been a part of any press conference for a long time. I don't like trailer launch events. Here the same old journalists ask you stupid questions. No one asks sensible questions.

There was a person sitting there. His boss had asked me to ask bad questions for the content. He asked and I reacted. So he did not win but I lost. Maybe I should not have done that, but it happened. Although that person also deserved it.

John doesn't pay heed to trolls

John Abraham also talked about trolling culture. He said- Nowadays trolling has become easy. People whose lives are not going well, keep abusing others on social media. But I do not pay attention to these things.

I just want to do good work. I just want to focus on work. I just care about my work. I don't care about going to parties and networking.

You won't get much work by driving a fancy car. I never read comments. I am not saying this to create an impression. I am not on any social media. I don't even use WhatsApp. That is why people's negativity doesn't affect me. Because of this, I am happy too.

John and Sharvari will be seen together for the first time

Let us tell you, in the film Veda, John will be seen for the first time with Sharvari and Tamannaah Bhatia. Apart from this, actors like Abhishek Banerjee and Ashish Vidyarthi will also be seen in the film. Directed by Nikhil Advani, this film will be released in theaters on 15 August.

John-Nikhil will work together for the second time

Through this film, John and Nikhil will be seen working together for the second time. Earlier, both of them worked together in 'Batla House' released in 2019. On the work front, John's last released film as an actor was 'Pathan' released in January 2023.
