Actress and social media influencer Avneet Kaur has been accused by a jewellery brand. According to the allegation, Avneet did not tag the brand in her social media posts despite wearing the brand's jewellery.
The brand 'Rang' has shared screenshots of the conversation with Avneet and her team on social media. In this, Avneet had promised to promote the brand's jewellery during her trip to Europe.
Speaking to Dainik Bhaskar, Akanksha Negi, owner of Rang, said, “We sent 9 pieces of jewellery to Avneet Kaur. She promised that she would tag us in her social media posts. During the one-month journey, she wore our jewellery 7 times but did not give us credit. Our PR team connected with her stylist several times and asked for credit, but we only got false promises.”
He further said, 'After a few days, Avneet asked for the price of the jewellery. We said that it is not a matter of money but of credit. After this, we sent the invoice, but Avneet refused to pay by making excuses. This is very disappointing for us. Having a huge following on social media does not mean that we should be exploited. Honesty was expected, but we had to face exploitation. We will not accept this attitude.'
Mittal Brahmbhatt, owner of clothing brand 'The Closet', also shared a similar experience with Avneet.
He said, 'Avneet had bought clothes from my brand. She had promised to post pictures of those clothes on social media. However, she did not post anything for months. Despite repeated messages, there was no response. She posted after about six months, but by then the collection was out of stock.'
