Leader Online Desk: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has reached Leh in Ladakh. There he met and interacted with the armed forces personnel stationed in Siachen. Loud slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai were given during the meeting with the jawans.
This morning, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh left for Siachen by plane from Delhi. Sharing the post on X, he wrote, “I am going to Siachen from Delhi. Looking forward to interacting with our brave armed forces personnel stationed there.”
Addressing the troops at the Siachen Base Camp, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the way you protect the country on the Siachen Glacier, the highest battlefield in the world. I congratulate you on that. The land of Siachen is not an ordinary land, it is a symbol. It represents the sovereignty and unity of the country. Our national capital is Delhi, Mumbai is our financial capital, Bangalore is our technological capital, but Siachen is the capital of bravery and courage.
Rajnath Singh was going to Siachen to celebrate Holi with soldiers. But their program was postponed due to bad weather. At that time, the Defense Minister had returned from celebrating Holi with the soldiers in Leh.
