Leaders Online Desk: Three children of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh have been killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Islamist group Ismail's family confirmed the attack. The IDF claimed that three of Haniyeh, Amir, Hazem and Mohammad, were killed in the attack.

The Israeli army, the IDF, claimed that Haniyeh's three sons, Amir, Hazem and Mohammed, were found in an airstrike while on their way to carry out terrorist activities in Gaza. Ismail Haniyeh said in an interview with Al Jazeera that three of his four children were killed in the war to liberate Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque. He said that the enemy thinks that by targeting the families of Hamas leaders, they will win him over. This will make us withdraw from our demands. Anyone who thinks that targeting my children will force Hamas to change its stance is delusional, he said.

Ismail Haniyeh is the head of Hamas

Born in a refugee camp in the Gaza Strip on January 29, 1962, Haniyeh joined Hamas while still a student. In 2006, Haniyeh became the Prime Minister of Palestine. A few years ago, he fled the Gaza Strip to Qatar. Hania currently resides in Qatar.
