Syrian media quoted a military official as saying that Israel launched an airstrike early Friday on civilian settlements in the town of Usek, north of Aleppo. At the same time, a Syrian rebel group also fired a drone. 38 people were killed and many others were injured in this attack. Five Hezbollah terrorists were also among those killed. A lot of property has also been damaged.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based war monitor, said the missile depot of the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah in Jibrin, a southern suburb of Aleppo near Aleppo International Airport, was targeted during an Israeli airstrike. Dozens of terrorists were killed in the attack, while many others were injured. Two hours after the attack, the sounds of explosions could still be heard. There was no immediate explanation from Israeli authorities for the attacks.

Israel often attacks Syria

However, Israel is silent on these attacks. On Thursday (28th) also, the media reported that Israel carried out an airstrike near Damascus, the capital of Syria. Two civilians were injured in that attack.

Hezbollah, a terrorist organization, has an armed presence in Syria. This terrorist organization is supporting government forces in the current conflict in Syria. Aleppo is Syria's largest city and once a commercial center. The international airport here has been closed due to continuous attacks. The war in Gaza and clashes between Hezbollah and Israeli forces along the Lebanon-Israel border have been ongoing for the past five months. International security experts say that attacks in Syria have increased in this background.
