Isha Koppikar has faced casting couch: said- a top hero called me to meet him alone; actors and their secretaries used to touch me inappropriately

Isha Koppikar has made a shocking revelation. Isha has said that she had to face casting couch at the age of 18. She told that an A-list actor had called her to meet him alone. People also used to say that one can get work in a film only if one befriends actors.

Not only this, the actors and their secretaries used to touch the girls inappropriately and also pressured them to befriend the actors.

Faced casting couch for the first time at the age of 18

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Isha talked about her initial journey and struggle in the film industry. She said that many actresses had left the industry during her time. There are very few who are still a part of the industry. Isha herself is one of these select people, who did not give up and is still a part of the industry.

She further said- I was 18 years old when the secretary and the actor approached me for casting couch. They told me that to get work, I would have to be friendly with the actors.

The top actor had called me to meet him alone

47-year-old Isha told that when she was 23 years old, a top actor of the film industry called her to meet him alone. Isha said that earlier that actor's name was linked with many actresses. Giving this excuse, the actor asked Isha to meet him alone. But Isha flatly refused to meet him.

The actor and his secretary used to touch her inappropriately and even twist her hands

Isha also recalled the time when the actors and their secretaries would touch her inappropriately. Not only this, they would twist the actress's hand and force her to befriend the actors.

Isha made her debut with the Tamil film 'Kaadhal Kavithai' in 1998. She also received the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for this film. Isha made her Bollywood debut with the film 'Fiza' in 2000. Karisma Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan were in the lead roles in this film. She has worked in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi and Hindi films till now.

Isha sang the song 'Khalsa' in the movie 'Company' released in 2002, due to which she gained a lot of popularity
