Actor Irrfan Khan died on 29 April 2020. However, according to actress Mita Vashisht, she had a feeling of Irrfan Khan's death even before his death. During this time, she had understood that Irrfan would not be able to live for long. Recently, in an interview given to Lallantop, actress Mita Vashisht has told that she and Irrfan Khan were friends since their theatre days. Irrfan Khan's wife Sutapa Sikdar was Mita's roommate, so they had a deep friendship. During the conversation, Mita has told that on the day of Irrfan Khan's death, his friend Ashok had come from Goregaon. He asked Mita to go to the funeral and both of them reached the cemetery together.

This was the first phase of the lockdown, so Mita reached the cemetery fully covered. The actress has told that Irrfan had become so famous that many big faces who had nothing to do with him also reached the funeral. But those people were posing for the paparazzi by showing their faces.

Mita has told that women are not allowed to enter the cemetery. When she and her friend Ashok reached the cemetery, the gateman stopped them. They kept saying that they are Irfan's friends, but the gateman kept them waiting in the sun for 2 hours. Coincidentally, when Mita got a chance to enter the cemetery, Irfan Khan's coffin was being taken out of the car. She could not see him properly at that time, but coincidentally, due to the angle problem, his coffin was turned again and passed in front of Mita. Mita said goodbye to the coffin after seeing it and thought that it has come to say goodbye to me.

Irfan Khan's death was predicted a few days ago
In the conversation, Mita said, 10 days before Irfan's death, Irfan and Irfan had a very long conversation in a dream. In the dream, he had said, it has been a long time since I met him. I remember that we talked for about 45 minutes in the dream time. We were laughing a lot. When I opened my eyes, I was feeling very peaceful. I was very happy, I thought he is going to leave. He is not going to stay. Maybe Irfan will leave in a day or two.
Further she said, I called his close friend, a numerologist, and asked him where Irfan was. He replied that he was at his farm in Igatpuri. I asked him how he was and he said he was fine. At that time he was undergoing treatment in London as well. I used to get information about him from Anup. He did not talk much at that time. I told him that Irfan is not going to live much longer. He will leave soon, maybe by this weekend. I want to meet him, can you tell him? I also told him about my dream. In response he said, no, it is not like that. He is not meeting anyone right now. Only Sutapa and both the children are with him and he is not meeting anyone. By the next weekend he had passed away.
