Leaders Online Desk: IPL 2024 Full Schedule: The wait for IPL 2024 full schedule is over. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced the remaining schedule for the 17th season. Qualifier-2 (May 24) and Final (May 26) will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Qualifier-1 (May 21) and Eliminator (May 22) will be held at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
In the background of the Lok Sabha elections in the country, BCCI had initially announced the schedule of only 21 matches till April 7. The election dates were announced recently. After that, the rest of the IPL schedule was prepared. In which a total of 74 matches will be played in 66 days.
The Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases. The first phase of voting will be held on April 19 and the last phase will be held on June 1. In the background of the general elections, there was talk of holding the second leg of IPL abroad. However, now it has become clear that all the IPL matches will be played on Indian soil.

Chennai is all set to host for the third time
Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium is all set to host the IPL title match for the third time. Earlier in 2011 and 2012, the title clash was held in Chennai. In 2011, CSK defeated RCB by 58 runs in Chennai. In the final held in 2012, KKR won the IPL trophy with a thrilling 5-wicket victory over CSK.
The 17th season of IPL has started from March 22. The opening match was played in Chennai, where defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 6 wickets.
CSK and RCB will clash once again in the league stage. The match between the two teams will take place on May 18 at the M Stadium in Bengaluru. CSK and Mumbai Indians (MI) will meet only once. The match between the two teams will be played on April 14.
There have been five matches till Sunday in the current season. Defending champions Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans have won. The sixth match will be played between RCB and Punjab on Monday.
