After an explosive innings from openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, Hyderabad scored 266 for seven wickets in 20 overs on the strength of Shahbaz Ahmed's half-century. This is the third time Hyderabad have crossed the 250-run mark. The team from Hyderabad has jointly become the first team to achieve this feat in T20 cricket. English county club Surrey have also scored more than 250 runs in the T20 format three times.

In this season, Hyderabad scored 277 runs for three wickets against Mumbai Indians and 287 runs for the loss of three batsmen against RCB. and scored 266 runs against Delhi. Hyderabad also completed two 200 runs in 14.5 overs against Delhi. This is the third fastest 200 in IPL history. Earlier against RCB too, Hyderabad completed 200 runs in 14.6 overs. RCB holds the record for fastest 200 runs in IPL. He completed 200 runs in 14.1 overs in a 15-over match against Punjab Kings in 2016. Hyderabad team is on the second position. He completed 200 runs in 14.4 overs against Mumbai Indians in the same season.
