Defending champions Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans by 63 runs on Tuesday (26), handing captain Shubman Gill's team their first defeat of the current season. A fine of Rs 12 lakh has been imposed for the slow over rate in the match. (IPL 2024)
Led by Shubman Gill, Gujarat Titans won their first match against Mumbai Indians by 6 runs. But the second match of the 17th season of IPL was not good for Gill. First, Gujarat faced defeat against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He was later fined Rs 12 lakh for the team's slow over rate.
