Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be facing each other. Meanwhile, there is a bad news before this match. RCB's star batsman Virat Kohli's safety has come to light. Four arrested on suspicion of terrorist activities
According to sources, Virat Kohli's safety is in danger. As a result, Royal Challengers Bangalore canceled their practice session and both teams decided not to hold a press conference. Gujarat Police arrested four persons from Ahmedabad Airport on Monday night on suspicion of terrorist activities. The police reportedly recovered weapons, suspicious videos and text messages after searching the hideouts of the four accused.
According to media reports, Royal Challengers Bangalore have canceled their only practice session ahead of the IPL 2024 Eliminator against Rajasthan Royals due to security concerns. RCB was scheduled to practice at the Gujarat College ground in Ahmedabad on Tuesday in preparation for the knockout match, but the team decided to cancel it without giving any official reason. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals team practiced net at the same place. However, no press conference was held.
Before the match, both the teams practice on the ground where the match is to be played. But that was not the case for Rajasthan and Bengaluru, as the IPL Qualifier 1 between Kolkata and Hyderabad was played at the same ground on Tuesday and hence the ground was not available for Rajasthan and Bengaluru. The Gujarat College ground was given as an alternative to the teams of RCB and RR.
