New Delhi, Leading News Service: The Lieutenant Governor recommended that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal be investigated by the National Investigation Agency today (6). An investigation into Arvind Kejriwal's alleged receipt of political funds from the banned terrorist outfit Sikhs for Justice was recommended. Deputy Governor of Delhi V. K. Saxena recommended this.

Ashu Mongia, the national general secretary of the Hindu Federation, had filed a complaint against Arvind Kejriwal to the Governor of Delhi. The complaint alleged that Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party had received political aid of $16 million or Rs 133 crore from the Khalistani organization. It was alleged that this help was taken to release Devendra Pal Bhullar. It was on this basis that the Lt. Governor recommended an NIA inquiry.

This is likely to increase the problems of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is in Tihar Jail in a liquor case. He has not yet got bail in this case. In it, the Lt. Governor has now recommended an investigation by Kejriwal's National Investigation Agency.
